So it seems that Asus is sort of easing itself into the notebook market, or at least the economy notebook market, because its’ latest offering, the eee PC 1101HA, is more like a full-on laptop than ‘just’ a netbook: it’s got an

11.6 inch screen, 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520, 1GB of RAM, Intel GMA graphics setup, a 160GB HDD, and Windows XP. Also, Asus is claiming 11 hours of runtime(!), which is astounding if it’s true. It’s not quite a laptop, but it’s a bit much to be comparable to a $300 10″ netbook, |
especially since the list price, according to Asus, is going to be $560. Engadget swears they’ve seen a 3G version, but no one knows when or if that one will ever make it to market. More eye candy (video below):

Does it matter? Do you use laptop with screen open 180 all time?

The 1101HA is available right now for $429. This is a great video – I’ll be sure to share it with my readers over at netbookreports.com

Alistair of course it won’t fold flat. Like most recent EEE PCs , it will probably go to around 120 degrees because of how is the mechanism done (the same as the one from 1005HA in this case) .
As for those considering that does not matter, i too consider this annoying sometimes when i stand in my feet in front of the desk and want to see something on the screen. So don’t be that fast to judge
