I suspect your first question is (it was mine): what the hell is a nettop, and what is it good for? Ok, the best way I can explain it is this: a nettop is the desktop version of a netbook. Netbooks are small, inexpensive, laptops designed for performing all but the most demanding tasks, specifically centered around word processing and internet use.
